Questions to Ponder and Prepare

  1. How will I use Blogmeister in my classroom?  What is my plan?  Daily?  Weekly?  Bi-weekly?  Monthly?  Classroom computers?  Computer lab?  Home?  How will blogging fit the standards?  How can it REPLACE what I am already doing?  How will I find the time to manage it?  What will I do if the network is down?  How will this better my students reading and writing?
  2. Will I use podcasting with my students?  If so, how?  How will my students access it?  Will my students have the technology needed to listen to it?  Will my students be able to create their own podcasts?  Will they have access to the technology needed to do it?  If I am not podcasting, why?  How will podcatsing fit the standards?  How will I find time to manage this?
  3. Will I use wikis in my classroom?  If so, what will I use it for?  How can I manage it?  Will my students have access to a wiki?  Will they have individual passwords or just one for the classroom?  How will I find the time to manage it?  Will this meet any standards?
  4. Are there other online tools I can use that have been mentioned in this workshop?  What insights have I gained?  What do I feel like I can take away from this and really use in my classroom starting day one?  What are the roadblocks?  Where do I need more assistance?  How I can plan for what "might" happen?
